So I didn't think I'd get into this travel blog thing, but I figured it was the easiest method for me to attempt to capture all of my European endeavors, and share them with all of you. Plus, as an internet junkie, it didn't take much to convince me to join the blogosphere. Consider yourselves lucky to have access to this privilege ;)Right now I'm sitting in the Sacramento airport, waiting for my flight (American Airlines) to board in about an hour. My brother dropped me off at the airport, I checked in (with my passport! which I'll admit was more exciting to me than it probably warrants), and am taking advantage of Sac International's free wireless (LAX, take note: this would be a good thing to implement. I'm just sayin'...).
From Sac, I have a layover in Dallas/Fort Worth before my 9 hour flight to London Heathrow! Once in London, I'm busing straight to Cambridge, UK (about a 2 hour journey), where I'll be
spending four weeks at the university taking classes for International Summer School Session 1, through the USC-Cambridge University summer abroad program! The program starts Tuesday, July 8 and ends Friday, August 1, after which I'm meeting up with my friend Thea in London, UK and we'll be spending the weekend there before Chunneling to Paris, France on Monday, August 4th! We'll be spending a week there exploring the city (save a day trip or two elsewhere), and attempting to get by with my stellar command of the French language (the Parisians are going to love my attempts to communicate with them, I can already tell). At the end of it all, I fly back to the States (passing through Dallas again) and arrive back in Sac on Sunday, August 10th at 7:30pm, with extreme jet-lag and stories aplenty to share.
Until my glorious return, your collective curiosities will all have to be sated by my online updates! ;) I'll try to be frequent, I swear. Ciao, America!
